God will have compassion on whom He will have compassion
There is another man I’m discipling at the moment who is from a catholic background. I’m going through a course called ‘Discipleship Explored’ and it has been very encouraging so far. The speed at which the course flows is digestible for the man, who is not very familiar with the Bible. Through building friendship first, God kept us in a constant, good, brotherly relationship through a year and now he’s grown in hunger to learn more. This man has lost all of his family members through tragedies spread across years of suffering. However, by the grace of God, he’s still alive, and God’s light has shone through many dark seasons that involved unimaginable oppression of the powers and principalities that are against God’s people. He is a kind and gentle man that seeks to be baptised. He is a man that needs to belong, like all of us. By His mercy, God has led this man to belong at New City. Please pray that we would continue growing together and for wisdom for me in knowing how to guide him to an understanding of baptism and ultimately being a member of the Church.
